Kids in Weddings | Featured in Westport Magazine and Fairfield Living

Those of you who have heard me talk about it before and know my long history of photographing kids (for two decades as a NYC advertising and magazine photographer, amongst other things), know how excited I can be when kids are involved in the wedding day, especially when they’re of a certain age where they can really be part of the celebration in a meaningful way. Magical moments just “happen” when they’re around and the day takes on a whole new life of its own. Its not for everyone (and not every kid’s going to live up to your expectations-and probably won’t), but when its the right situation and everyone goes with the flow, what fun it can be. So how excited was I when our good friend Diane Sembrot, Editor of Moffly Media’s Westport Magazine and Fairfield Living asked if we’d be willing to contribute this story to their May and June wedding section.  The easy part was finding these special moments from recent celebrations, the hard part was selecting from so many that I had to choose from. So thanks to Diane and the fine people at Moffly. And as Diane suggested, there just may be a book in our future. Stay tuned.
